Indigenous Perspectives was a part of Sydney Hallowell’s senior project for the class of 2025. Sydney’s family is from the Omaha Tribe in Nebraska, and she began working with the history department during her junior year to incorporate Indigenous perspectives. The goal of her senior project was to include a viewpoint that is often overlooked. Indigenous Perspectives tells the history of Loomis’s campus through Indigenous stories and perspectives.
